I think Luis will be returning, and perhaps there will be others, guess we'll just have to wait for now.

By the way, have there been any recent updates about this? I haven't really been following Glenn's tweets lately.

As you're probably aware by now, Glenn will take some downtime now before beginning the recording process, but will no doubt give us status reports as time goes by... you can always catch cup on his "tweets" by visiting the Twitter Archive page.. so you have no reason to miss anything he's been saying

Yes - it seems we will be waiting a little longer! Does that mean we have to wait to know the new album title too?? Man that mystery has been driving me insane! I'm sure it will be well worth the wait - and I like the sound of the Voice of Rock World Tour 2010! Can start planning where in the world I want to go next.......

I can live with a delay to the new album, after all Glenn has a huge back catalogue of material to choose from when putting together a set list and we all have a vast number of albums to listen to.
However, it is about time Glenn played a few more gigs back in the home country, it would be great to see a full UK tour in 2010 rather than just the odd one off concerts.

I seriously doubt that. Though I wouldn't mind Glenn collaborating with Lord and Paice again. Blackmore and Coverdale? Ain't gonna happen.

Something big must be going on next year, as in Glenns tweets for the past few months it is clear that the music for the album is all but done and he was working on the lyrics.
So i wonder why it has suddenly been put on hold, i cannot believe a Mk3 reunion will take place, Coverdales voice has gone, Ian Paice is recording a new album with Deep Purple and Ritchie Blackmore would never do it. Maybe some promoter is backing Glenn to do a major tour, lets hope so.

His voice would certainly suit the material better than Paul Rodgers, but, i am not much of a Queen fan. However, if it were to raise Glenns profile and allow him to slip in some of his much superior material then i suppose it would be a positive move forward

hey was only jiving! Saw someone mention paul rogers in another thread and just threw that one out there! not sure i would want him to do it now to be honest. Enjoy him doing his own thing too much!

See you on the Voice Of Rock world tour 2010! wish he would squeeze in the new album first though! Agree with you Iain, there seems to be something new/big in the pipeline as it has been full steam ahead with the album for the last 6 months or so! One minute he was goin in the studio in a few days, next minute, going nowhere near a studio! wander if it has something to do with the availability of his preferred sidekicks?

Paul

Something big? Well, it will have been 40 years since Glenn released his first album, but for obvious reasons there won't be a Trapeze tour.

A new supergroup involving Glenn perhaps?

Well if there is somethign new and big in the pipeline I'm not sure it will be anything 'old' as Glenn is all about the here and now and very much in his zone where he is now - so would he go back - would be great as I love all his albums - but don't think it will happen! Will wait patiently for the new album coming out and ofr any updates - well maybe not patiently - I'll be twitching a lot but will wait - it will be worth it xxx

Bearing in mind how prolific a songwriter Glenn is, if he delays the album he will have written another load of songs worthy of inclusion and therefore would need to release a double album!

or....

how about re-recording some Trapeze classics in the studio with Chad and various guest guitarists?

As for the guitarist(s), I think there's a chance Glenn will finally be collaborating with Doyle Bramhall as he's wanted to do that for years now.

Well, as there is talk of a tour in 2010 I would liek to echo the comment of a FULL UK tour tather than London, Wolverhampton and AN Other.

Glenn, its time to hit Scotland or at least Newcastle again with a damn funky band playing a full set covering a track from each album (including pre-solo).

here 's is hoping.........................
