Canada vocal seminar appearance

Glenn will be participating at a vocal seminar which also includes a "Q&A" session AND a semi acoustic performance! It all takes place at the Eva O. Howard Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 1:30PM (to 4:30PM).

There will be very limited seating available.

Tickets go on sale March 14th, 2009.

Got my tickets back in April. I live in Calgary, about 180 miles south of Edmonton. Just about fell out of my chair when I saw Glenn was going to be this close. Have been a huge fan since MkIII days. This sounds like and interesting format and venue and I'm sure it will be great. Anyone else from this neck of the woods heading up to the chuck?

It took a hike Naah, they're not too many folks from Canada who stop by, so had to relegate it I'm afraid. But it can come back should that change

Just heard from Tix On The Square today and show has been cancelled. Any idea what happened? Should have known a date this close to home was too good to be true

Hi Pat - yes indeed, just got word too. Awaiting a statement from the organizers and will have it up here as soon as received, but yes, Glenn now won't be appearing this weekend.

David, is there an update on what happened that Glenn did not make it to Edmonton? I saw his tweet that he was at a Fairmont hotel around July 1 and I thought he might have made it to Canada as that chain is quite popular up here.

Looks like I am going to have to wait for a rare U.S date now. I told my wife, I have to see Glenn perform live before I die. Not that I plan on dying anytime soon.....

The organizers cancelled the event. I never did receive a statement or anything with the whys and wherefores! He went up there for a day to participate in a session with some local musicians who were part of the original bill at the seminar. No other details available.
