Courtesy of "Babel Fish":
This bootleg belongs to the mini tour of presentation of the unique album that this pair recorded and that concretely lasted a pair of little months in which they touched by several cities of California and Texas at the end of the 82, in October and November, and which it contains in addition the scale model than it was going to be its second work that never saw the light. The show at issue was celebrated in Lubbock, Texas and like it is logical are all songs pertaining to the debut of the band except for a single of battery of Tommy Aldridge, that was the battery of the tour and a version of ' Highway star' that it gives to title to the CD, something certainly strange since one could have waited for ' Burn' or ' Stormbringer'. If you like the disc that they published this is a good complement, although do not offer anything special to be honest. Simply good musicians on the scene with a Glenn excessive full Hughes and in short whiles, even interpreting good songs. The sound is not great thing. Even though that is of the radio, the recording is in monkey and very little shining, like when you leave the ecualizador flat, to understand to us. As far as the subjects of the scale model, I cannot understand that it happened so that it was not published at the time because they are really good. They follow the line of those of the album although a little nearer the MGP if it fits and when I say MGP I refer bands of the stature of POLICE or PRINCE for example (that is to say, absolutely competent bands in any aspect). Feeling is ochentero to the thousand percent, especially reason why to the keyboards it talks about, that give to an unmistakable flavor ' him; añejo'. Of course, if it did not come to the light in its time, it is impossible it does that it now because the time of that type of songs has happened already. In summary, very good complement for any collection of saga PURPLE or the race of Hughes alone, although is not pure fire.
