Icon34 Abbey Road visit today...

Today, GLENN visited Abbey Road studios in London to work on the remastering of Stormbringer and the song "Holy Man".

GLENN is working with Simon Robinson and crew (dpas) and the likely release date is sometime in the Spring of 2007. Keep your eyes peeled at their website for updates as they come in.

Accompanying him was Jeff Kollman and here are a couple of pix at the legendary location

I am glad that Glenn is where i have visited once! Abbey House is an apartment next to the studio I think.

By the way, the leaves on the ground reminds me how it is getting cold out there in the morning.

It would have been hilarious if you'd been caught, though, and added a court appearance for a citation to your list of places visited on vacation

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as today is the day (finally) that the Stormbringer (35th Anniversary Edition) remaster is released. Having been lucky enough to have heard some of the remixes...WOW, it is a highly recommended purchase

Next up, CTTB...right?

Let's hope so.

Hopefully my cd and vinyl version of Stormbringer are somewhere over the Atlantic right now, on their way to my cd player and turntable

Looking forward to hearing this re-master and CTTB

Got a question. Day off 2day and was watchin' the Cal Jam dvd. I was always curious about Glenns' speaker stacks. Wondering what kind of drivers were lurking in those cabinets, and the power output? Thanks! P.S. That was one awesome rig.
