Here's a brief report from a lucky fan who was able to attend the live appearance at the Rockline studios last night

Quote:
As I entered, there were three people sitting on a couch enjoying each others company. One svelte gentleman offered a welcome and said, "Hi, I'm Glenn, welcome."

"Oh, my God," I thought, the legend I have followed since I first saw him in the band Trapeze was right there in front of my eyes. I offered my hand and introduced myself. Glenn was personal and thanked me for coming and offered me a seat. I looked around and found that I was in a recording studio. I stood around and became one of the group.

Bob Coburn, from Rockline, showed up, talked to Glenn, and a few minutes later the show started.

BC did his interviews, people called in and then Glenn and the boys did their thing. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I heard that bass. Then the vocals started and I knew I was in heaven. I can honestly say that I do not remember the 'set list' but every single song was unbelievable. Glenn's voice needs to be in the Guiness Book of Records! The band is great! If you hear someone whooping quite loudly, it is me!

As a tribute to Mel Galley, Glenn played Mel's Les Paul and did Coast to Coast. I had tears in my eyes, yet kept them open to see Glenn do a superb job on that song.

The band ended the 'show' with "Burn." It was great, but did not compare to "Don't Let Me Bleed." To me, "Don't Let Me Bleed" was the best song of the night.

Thank you so much for letting me know about this fantastic, personal show. I wish all of Glenn's fans could have been there.

Uncle Johnny

A BIG HOORAY for Glenn and his band playing in the states.

Still listening to the segments...loved how they captured the stereo vibrato pinging back and forth of Ed's keyboard. Shows that they did it right. Keyboards need to be hooked up in stereo and it's so cool that it sounds like Im plugged into the instrument's headphone jack.

Icon27 CCP....(Chrome Plated Cool)

I streamed the segments at home on the laptop...if it sounded that fine on my laptop then I know it must sound killer on a full system....A great set and a fine performance by the guys!

And it was cool to have first Grace and then Shirean to get through on the phone! Now...bring on the autobiography!!
