Icon47 Rare Trapeze Compilation

Hi

Anyone ever heard of this TRAPEZE compilation "Way back to the Bone"??

It came out on BANDIT in 1986 (Cat. nr: BRF2001)

I scanned the front and backsleeve (unfortunately my scanner is not big enough for album sleeves).

It's an odd release, isn't it. No new material - a good story on the back cover, but other than that, nothing new.

I wonder what Bandit were hoping for by releasing this, especially in 1986? Perhaps trying to piggy back on the success of Glenn's Iommi outing, Judas Preist and Whitesnake perhaps?

A mystery

My younger brother (the 'puter wiz) took my vinyl copy of Way Back To The Bone and remastered it to disc without the annoying pops and clicks (almost cd quality). He also scanned the front and back cover and reduced them to cd jewel-size (quite brilliant actually). Now my Trapeze cd collection is complete!!!

I have it too.
I got it the week it came out (86-87) and took it to an MGM gig. Mel (Galley) hadn't seen it either, but signed it as did Bernie Marsden for some reason. I think he felt left out
