Icon27 BN Burn riff

Just found this little piece which I found real funny

In Anaheim, 2005-02-04, Blackmore´s Night played a great gig. During an extensive version of "Writing on the Wall", Ritchie started playing the "Burn" riff spontanously. The audience cheered very surprised

I just put a snippet of that here. Enjoy.

Can we hopefully take this as another "YES" vote,

towards an all-line-up Deep Purple reunion concert?

PS....That was great to hear, thanks!
(And the drums were right there, in a split second.)

If this so called Mk III reunion will ever take place I will be shed in tears, I guess. GH once said in an interview that he thinks there is one rock album left, inside Ritchie Blackmore and he needs the opportunity to realise it. Even it wouldn´t be a complete MK III line-up...(in deep respect to Grandpa Lord)...Vince di Cola would replace him wonderfully.
Blackmore, Hughes, Coverdale ....some free tickets for horse races and Paicey will be in the boat for some shows.......that would be the headline for the 21st century for me.

Grace...how about sending some pictures of you, wielding an axe, to Blackmore, Hughes, Coverdale ect.??????? That would perhaps speed up the process a bit, I think

Give it a try! If it doesn´t work....we can blame it on the heat that you did that....

Thanx for sharing the clip, Achim, great stuff!
You seem to have a good archive when it comes to RB. Not hard to notice that you´re very much into him.

Saw Blackmores Night in Heidelberg few years ago. Ritchie damaged a mandoline, it just fell apart. Reminded me of the CalJam video.

Ritchie will always be Ritchie, to his last breath.
Good music, but not much my style, but good music.
