Elvis and the Beatles in grainy black and white.
Elton's eyeglasses and Cobain with candles.
Can it be 50 years of music (1956-2006) in one video?
Love it!!!!!

And the song ain't too shabby none either

Icon47 Ryan Hewitt

Here's an interesting article featuring Ryan Hewitt, who just completed engineering & mixing Music For The Divine and also of course, he's the mix engineer of the latest album from RHCP, Stadium Arcadium

Thanks for that.

John Frusciante is impressing me day by day, will have to checkout some of his solo albums. Anyone got a recommendation which one to try first?

Here's one last clip from RHCP performing live in London this past weekend - outside at the BBC Television Centre for their weekly pop show, Top Of The Pops.....featured is the song By The Way.

Chad gets featured on some great live shots....man, he's a maniac on his drums

John Frusciante let's loose too

Icon49 In the wrong job?

You know, David, most people would love to be "Rock Stars."

So why do I keep thinking?

Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello.
Glenn Hughes and Chad Smith.

SOMEBODY (2 people, actually)
could be a great comedy act together.
(They probably are......already.)

Icon32 Apple retail stores hosting Chili Peppers listening parties

Apple retail stores in the U.S., Canada and U.K. will be hosting pre-release listening parties on May 2nd for the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album, “Stadium Arcadium.”

Apple said the stores will play each of the album’s 28 songs in their entirety, and will be giving away complimentary iTunes music cards (while supplies last) to download the album’s first single, “Dani California.”

The events kick off at 6:30 p.m. local time. Chili Peppers fans can pre-order the album from iTunes for $19.90 to be downloaded on May 9th when it is released.

In addition, those who pre-order the album will be entered to win a limited-edition Chili Peppers iPod and get the first shot at concert tickets for the band’s North American tour.

Sorry this is a bit late, but i take a while to read the threads. I have eight of John Frusciantes solo albums, and to record only water for ten days might be one to try, or shadows collide with people. My favourite one is the will to death, i heard zane lowe play the days have turned on his show when the album came out and loved it! If you like acoustic though, go for curtains, the most recent one! happy listening!

Great clips

I just got the "Stadium Arcadium" album and I was positively surprised. The track "Dani California" is outstanding (and the video is so as well).
I love the guitar style on it very much, although I have to confess that I´ve never been THE big RHCP fan that much earlier but the new album is very interesting indeed.
Thanks for posting all this and the lots of information too. Since this turns to be an unofficial RHCP website there´s no more need to visit the "other" website anymore.
Great clip, great song, great post!

cheers, Achim
