Man, if that's the bad, I wonder what the ugly must look like...

Man, that Raul Midon is a great player! Good tune, great playing. Very interesting to watch. His playing style kind of reminds me of a guitarist I saw last year named Michael Kelsey. Cool stuff.

As far as the other video goes....as bad as it is, I have to keep listening to it because everytime I do, I find a new spot where the lead singer does his own background vocals. I have to amuse myself somehow....

Hi all
Given what's gone on in London today, thanks for bringing a smile to my face- the BBC didn't give 'the bad' much airtime at Live 8 on Saturday!!
Cheers
Ben

I like the first video - definitely a unique style Mr.Midon has, both on the guitar and the pipes!
Remember Keziah Jones, anybody. Basically very much alike Midon, but in a power trio format (with acoustic guitar). Very popular in France and Germany.

Thanks very much for the second clip, Howie, BIG on a sad day.

Cheers,
Christian

Those guys doing the Final Countdown? Who are they, and where can I get the live album?!?!? That was quite simply the best thing I've heard since Hulk Hogan and The Wrestling Boot Band - Hulk Rules CD.

Scarily enough, not only do you know about that album James, but you probably typed the title while you were looking at the cover in your collection, LOL.

Cheers...Todd

I have had it on five times in four days Todd. As soon as I heard about it, I bought it. It's a work of demented genius. It now adorns my "comedy" musical selection, along with:

Mike Reid - Sings
Pat Boone - In a Metal Mood (No More Mr Nice Guy)
Black Sweden - Gold (what an album that is)
And I'm going to be adding Paul Anka - Rock Swings very shortly because the old chap has delivered the definitive version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for me!

Icon31 Black Sweden

James,

Black Sweden - Gold
classic!!!!!!!!!

This (and many other "oddities") has been in my collection since it came out, back in 2000.
Only recently I put it on again when a friend who visited asked what it was.

I think it's out of print, so I have attached a little something.

Cheers,
Christian
