Icon32 Earthquake

Good Morning Everyone--

Just wondering if anyone in this California region has been affected by the recent earthquakes. We in Florida, know what it's like to live in a land where Mother Nature rules.... Hope all is well.

Rockin and Rollin

I live about 40 miles (as the crow flies) from the epicenter of Sunday's quake and only about 15 miles (as the crow flies) from Thursday's quake. We had a couple of pictures end up on the floor but that's about it......just rockin and rollin out here! Really no big deal except that it always raises the threat of the BIG ONE, especially when they are so close to the San Andreas fault!

musicnracin's Sig:mount the handlebars on the headboard and ride baby ride!

Glad that you are OK, musicnracin, and all other California-type people.

(Gabi and Glenn's house; Shirean and David's house?)

Just in case you don't already know about it, I checked with
The Glenn Hughes Crazy People - Helpful Househod Hints Department
and you should try to buy a product called: TACKY WAX.

It's usually sold in gift shops. It's a little jar filled with something that
looks like white candle wax, mixed with non-drying glue. You roll a small
amount into a little meatball, and put it under a figurine before setting it
on a shelf. Or you put a small ball of it behind a picture frame...........
and nothing will fall and break. Ths stuff "lets go' when you give the item
a little twist. And it washes off completely with soap and water.

If your house starts doing the polka, or you have "a home where the buffalos roam"
(read that as a gang of kids running through) the TACKY WAX will keep your stuff in place.

I hope that this information helps............

TAKE CARE,
Grace

Yes I was affected, I was asleep and in the middle of a totally cool dream with Telemundo's Candela Ferro and I was standing in a high rise looking out over Miami....and the damned earthquake yanked me right out of Latinaland paradise. It was non sexual, but it sucked that it ended like that! I'm not making this up, I was in the middle of this cool dream. The scary thing is, is thinking that it's a preshock and it could be a bad one right away in the following minutes.
