No worries Mark, GLENN will be there

He might have to be seated, but he'll be there - along with Jeff Kollman and they'll be performing an all acoustic set.

Ok folks...there's some good news and bad news

The bad news first...Jeff Kollman is no longer able to make the cruise...the good news is that GEORGE NASTOS will now be accompanying GLENN on the high seas

You'll remember George from the 2001 USA mini-tour and of course a key contributor to the album, FEEL and even the odd apppearance with VCR.

It's guaranteed to be a groovin' and funky experience

Great that you will be on board, looking forward to finally meeting you too! Too bad David won't be there. I am so looking forward to the chance to get away for a few days and seeing Glenn! Can't ask for much more.

We were at Cocoa Beach today and what do we see on our way, but Port Canaveral - so we stopped by to check it out - not much to look at without the boats but at least I know where to drop Shirean off in a couple of weeks

Hey Chris,
No need to worry about "the direction" of Glenn's music on the cruise.

There is no way that GH could sound like Jack (Love Boat) Jones, Michael (Mr. Plastic) Bolton or Wayne (Las Vegas) Newton. Even if GH sang with a brown paper bag over his face, he would STILL be uniquely "Glenn Hughes".

Just listen to the two acoustic songs from the "Rockline" interview ("Getting Tighter" and "You Keep On Moving") plus "Coast to Coast" from the 4-track EP, "Talk About It." That's what Glenn will sound like.......and I'll bet you a big bag of money, that he WILL NOT be wearing a (lounge lizard) tuxedo!!!!!!

Besides - I saw/heard George Nastos with GH at the Birch Hill show in Jersey. He doesn't have an "elevator music" bone in his body, either.

Have a wonderful time this weekend, Kat and Shirean.

It's raining here, so if I sit in a tin bath in my back garden listening to SITKOR, I can always pretend I'm with you both!

We look forward to photos of the event, of course!

Here's a bit of a sneak peek

Shirean just called me to say that everyone's onboard and settling in - although the dramamin is close to hand

GLENN accompanied by George Nastos in an all acoustic set, are actually performing tomorrow night at 11:00PM EST in the ship's Lido Lounge.

GLENN said he hopes to fit in 18 songs including Coast To Coast, You Keep On Moving, Stormbringer, A Whiter Shade Of Pale....some Beatles covers and a few others!

A full report will follow on Monday afternoon, hopefully with some pix
