First reviews are starting to appear in UK magazines... more to follow shortly :cool1:

Guitarist Magazine - 8/10 September 2017 issue...
Quote:

BCC have the innate chemistry to capture studio lightning in a bottle. The fire and passion that defines this band is still very much in evidence here on a record that feels more focussed than its predecessor. Long may it burn.
Mojo Magazine - 4 Stars - October 2017 issue...

Four records on, Black Country Communion are making their best music yet. Here’s hoping for a fifth album.

This album rattles with energy and hums with class. This is cast iron classic hard rock. Beautifully conceived and expertly delivered. It's a belter.

Nation Rock Review
Quote:

...a very distinctively classic rock sound which highlights the musical heritage of the band members whilst at the same time the album has got a bit of a contemporary twist. There is a real melting pot of sounds and influences - there are no fillers, from start to finish you hear a band at the top of their game. Black Country Communion has delivered one of the standout rock albums of 2017.

Anyone who dug the power and pomp of the first BCC album will love the way that this one is going. The whole album just screams of the joy of four masters playing together... every track gives the listener a different taste of BCC.

The album was written in four months, and it feels like it's still fresh from the oven, crackling with hooks and heft.

Blues Rock Review

...the band was careful enough not to repeat the previous albums. BCC IV sounds bolder with heavy riffs, undeniable hooks, melodic flair and infectious choruses.

The album is not so much powerful as it is dominant, the authority wielded is formidable and irreplaceable and it is with little wonder that the album has been as keenly anticipated as it has been. Dominant and wild, instruments played at their collective best.

Rock and Blues Muse

Quote:

Glenn Hughes' vocal performances on BCCIV are, in a word, incredible. It’s all testament to Hughes's reluctance to rest on his heydey laurels, instead integrating the styles of vocalists his own music has influenced. It helps give BCCIV a feeling of melodic completeness on a masterly record that pulls in a stunning array of genres, eras, and influences.

Metal Discovery
9/10

This is how rock music is supposed to sound. Alive and vibrant! It's everything you'd want from a new BCC album... and then some. Beefy rock riffs; succulently warm and heartfelt guitar leads/solos; a solid and engaging rhythmic backbone of perfectly fused bass and drums; ever-interesting keyboards; and, of course, "The Voice of Rock". It's all here, once again. Oh, and some first-class songwriting that both plays to their classic rock and blues-biased strengths, while injecting a few other seamlessly blended elements (notably, prog and folk feature here and there). There's no "cashing-in" reunion going on here... this is BCC back, doing what they did, and evidently still do, best.

The balance between Hughes and Bonamassa's input is perfect, creating the sort of Classic Rock few bands are capable of nowadays - Black Country Communion haven't raised the bar for this sort of music... they are the bar!

There is no filler here. Each track is engaging and masterful as these super musicians combine to show how rock should be done. Those looking for something to bang a head to should look no further than this. It is simply brilliant.

Hi,
BCCIV is great! I've only one complaint - was the booklet printed in Joe's garage? It looks like a pirate to me
