Thanks, David for the link.
See good old UK iTunes wants £7.99  almost 50% more than you guys in the States can get it for!!
Just a comment rather than putting me off buying it!
Cheers
Ben

Retailers are always going to add their 2 cents - well, in this case a lot more :)

Not sure of the exact pricing that you'll find it on his website, but it should be equivalent no matter what country you purchase from, although I'm sure shipping & handling will vary - that's what makes iTunes useful, for those who aren't fussed with jewel cases and sleeves!

Momo Aug-22-2006 12:23 PM

oh no!!!

I can't buy the album with Japanese iTMS account!!??

wolfysmith Aug-23-2006 12:05 PM

i'll wait for the cd. a bit longer makes no odds now.

by the way Ben, in an interview in Classic Rock, Cheap Trick are
taking legal action as at the moment they get just 4 and a half cents for every 99 cents that Itunes charges per song. and there have been over 400,000 downloads of their songs so far!

That's because their record label, Sony Music, is taking the other 95 cents - they're the ones getting sued, not Apple. The Allman Brothers are also doing the same thing!

Hi Wolfy
Yeah, I'm with you on on waiting for the CD then, especially if The Change is going to be on it (Thanks for the confirmation, David)

Cheers
Ben

wolfysmith Aug-23-2006 12:25 PM

yeah, i guess i wasnt clear David.

Im listening to Into The Light now. the download made available thru here. AWESOME.

chrisloeb Aug-23-2006 3:34 PM

The "real" CD for me it will be too, as soon as it is available here.

From what I have heard so far (Into the Light and the other track I caught ;) Thanks, Achim), I absolutely share Achim's opinion.

It's still on the list... :)

The only place you can buy it from currently is over at Apple's iTunes Music Store. In the next few days, it will be available from JJ's own website as well as here.

In other words, and in all cases, it's an online purchase only - iTunes is downloadable, the 2 other websites will be for mail order - so the actual CD (disc/jewelcase/artwork) .

Hope that clears things up.

daroleon Aug-26-2006 6:18 AM

Thanks. I want to download it but I am from Poland and iTunes is not available in my country. What can i do??

David Aug-26-2006 8:33 AM

As I said earlier, it'll be available to mail order in the next week or two both from here and directly from JJ's own website.

JJ Web Aug-26-2006 11:40 AM

Hi everyone - yes, the full cd will be available soon, and JJ will be signing some of them in advance, so when the order-forms go on the site, please let us know if you would prefer a signed copy or a non-signed copy.

And... I know I'm a bit biased... but... it's dammmmm good!

p.s. And now we just have to hope that the li'l blond fella can remember how to sign his name. Dohhhhhhhhh. Considering that he can't remember to send me the simplest information such as tourdates, photos of his guitars etc, I would say that a signed cd from the website is gonna be regarded as quite a rare and precious artefact in a few years from now - bless him.

Shirl Aug-26-2006 2:04 PM

Bless him indeed. You're right - it's damned good. I wasn't sure what I expected to hear :claphands

tony g Aug-26-2006 3:00 PM

i want a signed cd for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JJ Web Sep-08-2006 9:00 AM

Yipppeeeeeeee!!!

Guess what!
Too excited to tell ya - so I'm gonna let David'n'Shirean tell ya instead!

wolfysmith Sep-08-2006 11:38 AM

I cant guess!   Tour Dates?

C'mon David and Shirean

JJ Web Sep-08-2006 11:49 AM

No no no no NO!
That's another yipppppeee for another day.
Today's yippppeeee is... the actual hard-copy metal beer-coaster that you've all been waiting 94787548975846 years for, complete with sleevenotes made outta paper spun from pollen collected at dusk from the knees of the rare lasagne moth, cradled in a clear perspex display case, is now ready to rock your world and on sale at www.jj-marsh.com

David Sep-08-2006 11:59 AM

You have something else to look forward to then wolfysmith, but the next best thing is now finally available :)

JJ's solo album - Music From Planet Marsh - is now available for ordering on CD from his website and very soon from right here too - you can order either a signed copy or non-signed - think I know which one I'll be getting :)

http://www.jj-marsh.com/cd.htm

So go for it - order as many as you like :D

wolfysmith Sep-08-2006 12:19 PM

believe it or not i just went to jj's site to see if dates on there instead ;) But then saw that the cd is on sale for £12 including postage :clapper: Put my order in and paid already! :D

Make sure JJ knows its for ME!
how many other people from Cannock can have just ordered it

Now for those dates :bouncer:

JJ Web Sep-08-2006 12:27 PM

Calm down, dear. It's only a piece of metal in a plastic box.

dpurpleface Sep-08-2006 12:31 PM

JJ Album

I just ordered it too! Amazing album! Heard most of it last year on the tour bus!

Cheers JJ!!!!

wolfysmith Sep-08-2006 12:33 PM

Hey Kate,

will you be at any/all of the shows?

JJ Web Sep-08-2006 12:40 PM

I hope to make one or two.
Problem is, I'm due to be on the road from 29th October with another band for 5 weeks, and in the run-up to that I'll be really busy - but... I hope to be at at least one. Lookin forward to meeting you all!

chrisloeb Sep-08-2006 1:07 PM

... just ordered mine too, plus a spare copy ;) you never know when you need it

Now roll the dates.... I gotta book a flight, and I want to book early! :)

Cheers,
hristian

Are any other U.S. customers having trouble with the "buy now" link? Nothing happens when I click on it.

The other two links for the UK and Europe work fine.

I'll keep trying :)

Chip

David Sep-08-2006 3:26 PM

Kate will correct me - but think she's going to link that one over to us here - we're just awaiting the shipment from Sweden before placing the order form online - unless you want to pre-order it :)

JJ Web Sep-08-2006 3:49 PM

Hi - it seems to work ok here at this end. (Too well! I clicked on it and nearly ended up buying one of the dammmmn things).
It might be that the page didn't download fully and you need to press Refresh - not sure.

Thanks for the info David and JJ Web.

I'll keep trying the link, or will get it through this site when it's available. Whichever happens first :)

Chip
